Overview

Engine: Unity    Responsibilities: Full development

During my junior year of university, my professor assigned my class to develop a game that interprets "around the house" as the core theme. The result was "Color Box", a 2D platformer and puzzle game where the players are solving four color-themed puzzles with each one representing one side of a house. I designed the game to not have any clear instruction other than basic controls to have players iteratively discover new mechanics and puzzle behaviors to make progress. I use color as the main theme of the puzzle as it is not only easier to interpret object associations but also crucial in conveying some of my deeper thoughts towards game development.
